    For his new work, "Rough Grassland" edited by El Muelle Records, David Mata leaves behind his alter ego Erissoma in order to confront a new and different approach to his way of composing and concentrates on the treatment of the sounds them selves. With no software use at all for the recording of this latest pieces. David Mata decides to keep an eye on the uses of electro acoustic sounds and on the recording of tiny little traditional music objects with a minimal and primary elaboration to create this record, making of it a canvas of micro sounds with special detail on the granulate noises that could be lost by them selves buy being part of the whole they become the most important aspects of the music. Based in harmonies and a constant pulse, were the static drives you from the subtle transforming the notes into a repeating loop of field recordings that gives form to these ten tracks included on Rough Grassland
